hiking Sete Cidades, natural hot springs, and breathe deeply by dramatic coastlines.
On your second day in Lisbon you will arise a revitalizing class to start the day with Energy. Then join your group
for a delicious buffet breakfast offering a variety of healthy options to replenish your energy. This afternoon the
group will take a guided hike through the serene landscape surrounding the sheist village of Figueira. Later, join a
workshop and enjoy learning about local desserts and culture through guided preparation of Tigelada a local
dessert. You will then have some free time to explore and relax before you join your group for a sunset yoga
practice and dinner on own.
Breakfast. Today’s highlight is a full-day immersion in the enchanting landscapes of Sete Cidades (09:30–17:30).
The day begins with a unique kayaking session on the lake, blending movement and mindfulness on the water. A
gourmet picnic will be served on the tranquil shores of the lagoon, surrounded by lush greenery. The tour
continues to the iconic Vista do Rei viewpoint, followed by a walk along the shores of Lagoa do Canário and a
hidden trail around the mystical Lagoa das Empadadas. The day concludes with a private. Accommodation.
Breakfast. The morning starts with an invigorating hike to Salto do Cabrito waterfall (09:30–17:30), a scenic trail
that winds through forest paths and along an old hydropower channel, leading to a stunning waterfall. Lunch will
be enjoyed at local Restaurant, a local favorite by the ocean. In the afternoon, relaxation awaits at the Caldeira
Velha natural hot springs, where warm iron-rich waters flow amidst tropical vegetation. To close the day, the
group will enjoy a wine tasting at Quinta da Jardinete, sampling Azorean wines in a picturesque vineyard setting,
before returning to the hotel.
Breakfast. A serene morning begins with a visit to the iconic Terra Nostra Garden (10:30–16:00), renowned for its
century-old camellias, exotic flora, and the thermal pool at its heart. After enjoying the natural surroundings, the
group will savor a traditional cozido lunch, slow-cooked underground using the geothermal heat of the Furnas
valley. The afternoon includes a visit to the steaming caldeiras in the village center, followed by a walk around the
idyllic Lagoa das Furnas, before returning to the hotel for a restful evening.
Breakfast. The morning is free for relaxation at the hotel or personal exploration. At midday, the group will enjoy a
traditional lunch at a local restaurant in Ribeira Grande, a charming coastal town known for its surf culture and
historical architecture. In the late afternoon, the highlight of the day unfolds with a private sunset boat trip
departing from Ribeira Grande, offering stunning views of the northern coastline bathed in golden light. This
experience combinesthe calm of the ocean with the beauty of the Azorean sunset before returning to the hotel.
Breakfast. The day begins with an invigorating hike along the Salto do Prego trail, one of the island’s most scenic
routes, winding through lush forests and traditional hamlets before reaching the enchanting waterfall. After the
hike, the group will gather at a scenic viewpoint to enjoy a barbecue-style lunch, surrounded by breathtaking
landscapes. The afternoon is free for rest or individual activities. In the evening, the program continues with a
hands-on cooking class at a local quinta, where participants will prepare and enjoy a delicious dinner, learning the
secrets of Azorean flavors in a warm and authentic setting.
