What to tell us in your first message
The more specific your first message, the more useful our first reply. It helps enormously to know roughly how many people are travelling, the months you could realistically go, and whether you already have a region in mind or want a recommendation. A single line about the feeling you are after, quiet and restorative, active and outdoors, a group celebration, gives us more to work with than a list of places.
If you are a retreat leader writing on behalf of a group, tell us what you teach, how many places you would need to fill, and whether you have run a retreat before. If you are travelling as a family, a couple, or a group of friends, say so; it changes what we suggest first.
You do not need budget figures to start a conversation, but a range is genuinely helpful. It keeps our suggestions inside the realm of things you would actually book, and it saves everybody a round of polite guessing.
